Until January 3rd, Faerie Folk offers all new members of Troll Hart's Patreon a signed album!

The band I’m directing these days is called Faerie Folk.

Faerie Folk is cultivating closeness with Mother Earth through devotion to music on acoustic instruments.

By devotion to music, I of course mean my own everyday labor, as you probably already know.

However devotion to music also means learning music that is not just our own. Faerie Folk is a traditional music band, which exists to deepen our musical spirit by communing with music through the ancestors’ tunes.

We of course develop our own progressive arrangements of the folk pieces, while at the same time doing our best to honor the tradition.

Devotion to music means playing entirely on acoustic instruments, our music’s excellence and sound resting wholly on our own organic ability to really play.

By devotion to music, I mean multiple rehearsals every week.

I mean hours of personal practice in between rehearsals.

I mean private lessons for each member. Because though we’re all in our 30’s and already have decades of training and experience between us, we understand that true musical excellence, and yes true musical devotion, requires an unwavering commitment to growth and learning.

Our mission is to deliver closeness with Mother Earth to a world that has lost far too much of that closeness. Since our method of delivery is music, as players we must be at our very, very best!

Faerie Folk numbers 3 members: Me, Joy Joye, and Jotunn Aldas.

We have 1 full length album out so far, released just a few months ago.

Out on CD, Bandcamp, and my YouTube channel only, because we don’t mess around with corporate music streaming.

We printed 100 CD copies total, and at this point only have 33 left.

We have signed all 33 remaining copies.

From today until January 3rd, we are offering all new members to my Patreon one of these signed albums free of charge.

One of these albums, un-signed, is normally $15, plus $5 for shipping.

I’m giving them out for free for exactly this reason:

To build a foundation of support with you based on shared values and common interest. A far better foundation than money itself.
