Faerie Folk is a Portland-based folk music duo. Created by pianist/composer Troll Hart, the music of Faerie Folk is cast in the spirit of harmonic adventure, magical delicacy, and worship of nature. 

 

With the incredible Jotunn Aldas joining on violin/fiddle, Fire, Water, Air and Earth flow from the duo's strings, with influence and expertise from decades of classical, jazz, and Celtic music training and performance.

The ensemble's repertoire is based in traditional Irish reels and jigs, while also exploring soundtrack excerpts from popular medieval fantasy media, as well as original neo-classical and folk music compositions.
